I am Jim

This is the story of Jim. It’s the story a man robot who serves others, dutifully, I might add. It’s not the story of an awakening. Jim has always been awake. This is not the story of a robot learning to be human or the story of a robot getting a soul (I’m looking at you Chappie). Jim is a robot. He knows it. Everyone else knows it as well. This is the story of Jim doing his job until he can’t anymore. This is the story of what happens when a good robot goes bad, what it means to be bad, and how hard it is to become good again.
